Dwayne L. Gulley is the founder and owner of H.U.R.A LLC. He is a student of of the political and international field with extensive experience in American as well as global politics. After briefly attending Alabama A&M University he found his calling at Chicago State University where he graduated cum laude and received his B.A. in Political Science while minoring in International Relations and French. Under the American Political Science Association, APSA, Dwayne was chosen to attend the Ralph J. Bunche Summer Institute at Duke University which introduced undergraduate students from under-represented racial and ethnic groups to the world of doctoral study in political science and pursuing scholarship on issues affecting under-represented groups. Dwayne was also selected to attend the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin, Germany where he was introduced to leaders from around the world while engaging them and his cohorts on cultural diplomacy. Dwayne also studied abroad at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis in Nice, France where he focused on French language, heritage, and culture.

While having much experience in the educational realm and 10 years in the corporate world in communications, Dwayne is an honorable United States Air Force gulf war veteran serving during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. There he worked as a Health Service administrator where he directed and monitored 284 flights pertaining to high profile and foreign national patient movement from war zones through European Command back to the United States while administratively clearing 1.3K battle wounded patients. Of his many medals, he most notably received the National Defense Service Medal and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
